I have a critical ML1100 that faulted spontaneously can I can't communicate with it at all. It was configured with Ethernet comms, but they're no longer working. Can't get it to communicate over serial port, either. Nothing displays on the screen. I just see the POWER light and FAULT light.

Any suggestions on how to get it communicating again?

Have you tried running a BOOTP server to see if it is issuing BOOTP requests?

It might be toast, or it might have returned to factory defaults, but I would think out of the box there'd be something on the display (I haven't used the ML1100).

Thanks. I read the manual, too, and determined there was a hardware error.

I managed to find a replacement processor 45 minutes away and was up an running again in less than 2 hours.

My local rep says they'll probably replace under warranty.
