DEAR ALL,

I have 9300-RADKIT for connecting ML1200 remotley.
My doubt is , do i need two 9300-RADKITS.
i.e one Modem @ ML1200 (9-pin D shell to ML1200 and
Phone line to Phone jack on Modem )and the
second modem connected to PC serial port trough
9-PIN D shell on the modem and to phone line through Phone Jack on Modem.

Manual shows PC connecting to 9300-RADKIT Modem through Serial port and to phoneline thourgh Phone Jack on Modem.
Is it not possible to use built-in modem in PC to remotely connect to PLC installing 9300-RADKIT in the remote PLC and configured driver for modem dialler in RSLinx.

I configured driver in RSLinx for DF1 and checked modem dialer and phone no in modem dialer.
My buitin modem is AGERE SYSTEMS AC'97 MODEM CONNECTED TO PORT 3.
But when i try to dial i get Modem Intialize Error.
I deleted my old configured Dial up connection in Windows Network connections. But still the error with modem is poping up.

I hope your suggestions in this regard.

With Regards,
