Offset & Gain setting A62DA card

Hi all!
I need to adjust Offset and Gain on Analoge out card A62DA...
Will the CPU (mitsubishi A1) stop when short circuiting 1 & 2 (Test)??
Will it affect anything else than the specific card? Aware that both channels will stop working..

I dont want to stop the operation while doing this so really need to know for sure
