Old PLC System

I never knew there was a plc 4 until i read that. Vey informative.

Ah yes, the 5TI. It's great fun loading a program away from the shop without the tape loader. I had a co-worker (don't say this can't happen, it did) got frustrated with changing timers on a TCAM, stated pushing buttons randomly and somehow dumped the program! This was 30 minutes before the customer was expecting to see a running machine! I had to hand type in the program using the hand held programmer (the 'calculator-looking' item). A few hundred instructions later we flipped the machine on, made one correction and had a working machine with all of two or three minutes to spare.
