Omron C200HX and DA004 gives 0x00D0 error - Duplex / Special IO unit error

Hello,

I have a problem with installing Omron DA004 card in the C200HX PLC. In CxProgammer it keeps giving me "Duplex / Special IO Unit error" on the processor. This is non-fatal error and the PLC keeps running, but analog outputs on this card do not work.
I tried putting it in different slots and racks, but this still does not help. I am quite sure that I have done the IR and DM setup correctly, and I had this checked by Omron Support specialist in Czech Republic.
The trick is, I am very much sure the problem is not with the card. I took this card and put it in a different PLC and it works without any problems. I also took working card from the different PLC and installed it in my original PLC - and the error keeps appearing.

Does someone have any idea on what else I could try?

You had this error logged elsewhere - no result? Have you tried placing the problem at Myomron? Really weird - have never had a problem with these. Have you checked to see that the address on the card does not clash with the address on another card? http://www.myomron.com/ You have to join but it is free. I wonder if it could be a version number mismatch - what is the other PLC where you have tried the card?

Check the Unit # setting on the rotary switch on the front of the module. Also check any other modules with a Unit # switch.

Each module requires a different Unit number.

Not sure this is the issue, but would be the first thing I would check.
