OT: Searching for Computers compatible with windows NT

Even if the PC has PCI slots, it might be these are unuseable. Last year I got two brand new PCs to replace two other ones. When I tried to reuse the PCI MPI interface cards (to program Siemens S7 PLCs), I couldn't fit these in the new PCs. The cards were full height PCI cards, the new PCs were SFF (Small Form Factor) and only half-height PCI cards would fit. I had to buy the newer USB2MPI adapters to be able to use my new PCs.

Thats one of the problems today. Almost everyone (I said almost), wants things smaller, lighter, faster.

I have ran into the same problem you have, and it is very annoying to me. The PCI set is being updated to the new PCI-X. I still can't get over that the majoirity of new PC's don't come with floppy drives any more...
