Thanks for the replies following my initial post Re connecting via serial to a DH485 PV1000

We have now found a 1761-NET-AIC and a 1761-CBL-AS03 cable that i hope will enable me to use a Panelview 1000 271-T10C3 to interface with a SLC 504.

Which cable would I need to connect the AIC to the SLC and how hard would it be configure. I have tried various driver on Rs linx to try and connect directly but with no luck
