Panelview 300 Micro Download Dilema

I am tying to download application software to a fresh out of the box PV 300 Micro. The first hitch is a prompt that I am running v4.1xx RSLinx and I need to upgrade to newer than v2.2xx????

Later a box comes up about an ATA memory card which does not exist on a PV 300 Micro. The power tab show "no memory card available on this model" and box isnt checked. Only available firmware revision is compatible. But, I continue and blinky blink flash, the down load screen flys by so fast you can only catch a glimpse occasionally, and done!

Nothing happens. Help

Basically RSLinx v4.xx doesn't function correctly with Panel Builder 32 software.
Using RSLinx 2.xx should still function properly, follow the thread post above with what others have come up with workarounds.
