Can you tell me the complete clear cut procedure of PIDE autotune functioin
And plz tell me when i shoukd do it ??? I.e. when the set point near the actual or when its far away and reaching to the SP.
Can't i do it in FBD in Auto mode : If yes then how??? Have to put FBD Block in manual mode always????
Any other way to autotune it???

everything else being equal - I'd say that closer to the setpoint would be better than further away - but it probably won't matter much either way ... just make SURE that the signal has "settled down" (flat line) before you start the autotune process ...
and it has to be done in manual mode - as far as I know ...
When I do an online edit of a FBD with a PIDE in it, sometimes, after an online edit, the Autotune tag assignment simply disappears...and returns...
