i'll be a new graduate from the institute of electronics and electric engineering (INELEC) option control,i want to ask one question :what should an engineer know before looking for a job in my field

A new engineering graduate should know this: My professors have done their best to train me, but all I know so far is academic theroetical knowledge that is useful but not complete. To become a real engineer I must also obtain practical experience. Until I get this practical personal on-the-job experience, I am a dangerous person to let loose upon the world.
