Hello,
I am having issues with a conveyor motor controlled by a powerflex 4 drive.
The motor is a 2 pole 19w motor, the drive is a powerflex 4. The motor will run for about 50 hours then on of the coils burns out. It has happened several times.
The drive has an input filter, an output choke, the cable is shielded and grounded correctly. When running is pulls the correct current (0.17A, motor rated at 0.2A, overload set to 0.3A).
Does anyone have any ideas? Is there an issue with using 2 pole motors with a PF4 drive?
Cheers
Alastair
