I have a few analog inputs to my Quantum 434 12U. I want to generate an alarm if the current loop is shorted or goes open. On Allen Bradley I would just look at the raw input integer and alarm based on that. Its not so obvious on Unity Pro XL 3.

What is the prefered/easiest method of generating a transducer fail when an analog input (say 4-20ma) is outside its normal range? Im using an ACI 030 analog input module.

Thanks
