Greetings.

I'm using a new Red Lion G308 HMI with an existing GEFANUC 9030 PLC with a 364 CPU with built in Ethernet. I can communicate with the HMI on the network, program and monitor it as well as the PLC all via the Ethernet network. I can put a data object on the screen and view live data from a register, but I have been unable to figure out how to use push button objects on the screen to turn MBITS on and off.

If anyone out there knows something about this configuration I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Cheers,

If all you need to do is toggle a bit, use the Flag Tag Button tool. (First, in the Data Tags section, make a new flag tag variable and assign it to a PLC bit.)-John
