Hey everybody, I need help again. I'm designing a production display monitor with a red lion ProducTVity station. I'm displaying some counters from a couple Cognex cameras that I want to reset at the end of each shift. Can anyone suggest a way to pulse a bit from the Red Lion on a timed basis that I could use as a reset?

Thanks in advance
Bill

Plenty of C3 programming experts here. Unfortunately I am not one of them... ;)

Until they chime in with an answer, I'll suggest looking at the GetHour() function (page 91 in the reference manual). That combined with GetNow() should return the current hour, which you might be able to use in a comparison, to trigger an action at a specific time...

Hi,

You can create an internal tag with the value of GetMin or GetSec depending on how often you want to trigger. Then you can create a trigger on the tag to set another tag high which can be read by the Cognex.

Thanks
