Is there any tool that can convert PLC2 program to Controllogix CPU?
Or we need to re-write all ladder by manual.

Is there any suggestion or concern when we do this conversion?

Thank in advance.

At best it would be a two-step process of converting PLC-2 to PLC-5 logic, then converting PLC-5 to ControlLogix.

There was a DOS-based AI-2 to AI-5 conversion program but it's been obsolete and unavailable for 15 years.

I would strongly recommend re-writing the program for ControlLogix by hand. The PLC-2 didn't even have subroutines or typed data storage files.

There are some hardware compatibility issues when converting 1771 I/O from the PLC-2 era (1977 to 1984) to use with modern ControlLogix and RIO adapters. These are well detailed in RA Knowledgebase Document 16474 (TechConnect).
