Hello,
I usually use MLX1100 with 1763-NC01 cable to connect my RS485 modbus slaves. But now i have RS232 device (modbus slave) and i wonder if i connect it to mlx 1100 + 1763-NC01 with 485<->232 converter will it work?

Should i leave protocol control "No handshaking (485 network)". Or should i change it to just "No handhaking"?

"No Handshaking" makes Channel 0 use the RS-232 pins.
"No Handshaking (458 Network)" makes Channel 0 use the RS-485 pins.

If you use the 1763-NC01 cable, you're connecting to the RS-485 pins. With another RS485/RS232 converter on the Modbus device, you're converting twice, which might be necessary if the distances are long (over 50 feet).

But because you want to use the RS-485 pins on the MicroLogix, you'll still choose "No Handshaking (485 Network)".

If you connect directly to the RS-232 port with a 1761-CBL-PM02 or similar cable, use the ordinary "No Handshaking" setting.
