RSLOGIX 5000 1756-IF6 properties missing

When I installed my RS Logix to another computer version 18 and I went online and tried to look at the properties of the 1756-IF6CS it would no display anything.

I corrected this problem by copying some files from my original computer to the new one and it corrected the problem. I thought I had the correct files but it did not work this time.

The files are xml files I believe. If someone has knowledge of this method to allow me to reconstruct the property box I would appreciate it.

I am in the process of upgrading the the card to a 1756-IF8H.

You need to install the Add-On-Profiles for both modules into the computer you are using. There is a quick-link on the bottom right at the RA website: https://compatibility.rockwellautomation.com/Pages/Home.aspx
