Hi,
I have a hardware setup of CLX, ENET, CNB, CNB, IB, OB in a 13 slot rack. This is duplicated on another rack and the ControlNet modules are for cross talk between the processors.

Do I need RSNetworx to schedule the ControlNet comms, or can I do it with RSLogix5000?

If you want to use Produced/Consumed tags between the two processors the answer is yes, because each processor will appear in the other's IO tree, and the data transfer is scheduled. This requires RSNetworx.

On the other hand if you are only going to MSG between them, then RSNetWorx is not required.
