Set Versamax Micro plc-time and date from iFix

Hi everybody,

I am trying to set PCL time and date from iFix VBA code and I don't even know where to start. Does anybody know the command or script that can do this?

You will need code in the PLC that reads from and writes to the PLC's clock. That code can be triggered from iFix.
Look up the SVC_REQ instruction in the Proficy Machine Edition help file. Function code 7 is for clock access.

Thanks Steve. I am aware of that option but I don't have SVC_REQ instruction in good memory since I know that I had trouble with this instruction and word variables when I was programming "getdate". I tought there were something more simple...

There is PLC logic here that shows one way to set the date/time in a GE PLC but be sure to verify that it has a Clock/Calendar.
