Siemens .200 Type Files

Hi

I'm in the middle of upgrading (if you could call it that)
from an old S5 IM308B profibus card to a not so old IM308C.

I have the original .200 configuration file off the IM308B
which was configured in an early version of COMET200 software.

My next step is to open this in COMET200 for Windows and convert it to a newer format.

The problem is when I try to open it I'm getting a lot of
file missing errors. The missing files are (xxxTx.200)
"type files" which are used to parameterize all the different
hardware devices on my profibus network.

The software points to a modem number in the states where
the type files can be downloaded. Screw that!!

I've had no luck with Siemens so far.

If there is anyone who knows an easier way, I'd appreciate it.

The .200 files you're missing are type files (like a GSD file). they normally reside in a sub-directory: /Siemens/COMET200/TYPDATX.

Attached is a zip file containing all that I have. If you're missing any in particular then try google / ask here.

I'll give those a go.

The file I'm currently missing is:

SI0002TD.200 6ES7 132-0BH00-0XB0 (B-16DO 0,5A DP)

I d'ont see it at first glance in your file. It's for a Siemens ET300B IO module so you'd imagine it wouldnt be hard to find, but google doesnt seem to be helping either.

In the file I posted there are:

SI0002AD.200 (German)
SI0002AE.200 (English)
SI0002AF.200 (French)
SI0002AI.200 (Italian)
SI0002AS.200 (Spannish)

All of these files are for :ET200B-16DO, MLFB<6ES7 132-0BH0.-0XB0>

Not sure why the different file name. My old copy of COMET200 doesn't seem to work very well. If you Post you config file, I'll try and open it.

Ah yes, my bad.

They are all the same file just in different languages.

The xxxxxxTD.200 just means my file is German.

I got round it by replacing the final letter in your file name with the letter d.
