I have a problem to do some tests on a system I'm developing.
Working with industrial IT and sometimes have to deal with some automation tools, so am not completely laic but I'm far from familiar with the area of automation.
My system needs to access a DB on a Siemens S7 PLC through OPC. The protocol used is S7 Connection. The connection that he will be called S7_Connection_09 access and DB is 14.
For example i need to access the OPC Item S7:[S7_Connection_09]DB14,DWORD68
My question is how to simulate this environment without a PLC?
