To convert .rsp file to .slc and Convert .acd to .slc

Hello everybody,

Could you please confirm if there is any automatic or semi-automatic tool to convert projects:

1. Convert a PLC5 project (.RSP) to a project (.SLC)
2. Convert a Logix project (.ACD) to a project (.SLC)

Welcome to the forum.

I do not know of any conversion tool to go backwards.
you can go from slc and plc5 to logix.

the only way it might work is to copy and paste.
if i am incorrect, someone please correct me.

Copy & Paste is the only way I know except for a couple of issues.


CLX tags won't paste into RSLogix 5 or 500.

CLX has instructions not supported by SLC.
PLC5 data files have higher numbers possible than SLC's (IE - B3:1024/15 vs B3:255/15 limit)
