I have difficulty in connecting to SLC505, there was a message appeared on RSLinx as: "Unrecognized Device" which prevented me to access slc505 from my laptop through Ethernet (channel1).
But I could connect to it through channel 0 by using 1747-CP3 cable without any issue.
Let me tell you what I had:
RSLogix500, ver. 8.20
RSLinx Classic, ver.2.55.00.16
AB Crossover cable
SLC5/05 IP address
Laptop IP address
EDS file for SLC5/05: 0001000E00150300.eds
I am sure there are something wrong but I do need help from an expert to guide me.
I appreciate to anybody who would solve my problem.
