Using RSTrendX with Excel

I'm successfully reading and writing to an SLC5/03 using Excel.
At the moment I'm trying to get the RSTrendX control to work from with in Excel.
Would appreciate it if someone could direct me in to right direction.

Has anyone had any experience with RSTrendX in excel.
I really need to get this working - don't have access to the AB.com knowledgebase.
This is for home not for the job.
When applying the RSTrendX 'module' to excel - you have the same control as when running the trend application from within RSLogix.
Drag and drop functions or rungs from RSLogix to the RSTrendX running in excel - but the data is not seen. I have tried configuring a pen manually using the same 'code' as used in excel for a hot link to a data value - with no success.
Can anyone help????
