Not sure if I am right place to even ask this however here goes.

I want to make a layout of all the conveyors in a plant on multiple levels.
WHich software would be the best to use?
Excel / Visio / anything else?

AutoCAD or if money is an issue try a freebie 2D CAD package but then I don't have the patience to draw anything other than simple flow charts in something like Excel or Visio.

Just an FYI - DraftSight can open a drawing created in the latest version of ACAD but the latest version of ACAD can't open a drawing modified by DraftSight.

I’ve been using ACADE for a bit and I feel like there has got to be a better more effieicent option out there. Is there? Or am I just slow in ACADE?
