I am trying to write just MSEC to S7 300 Controller date/time using OI.SIDIRECT Aveva communication driver?
The old HMI (WINCC) tag is assigned to the address (DB905.DBD98).
New HMI: Wonderware Intouch 2023 Standalone application.
I have tried to use different canonical data types described in the SIDIRECT document to no avail. I have assigned a tag the following addresses:
1. DB905,TREAL98
2. DB905,DTL7,98
3. DB905,DTL98Byte7
** the second option halfway works. It performs the write but with a suffix of nanoseconds. For example when I write 2400, I get 2400.000000
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
