Yet another "What software...?"-thread

What software are you using or would recommend for drawing interlock, control and sequence diagrams?

A full blown CAD feels over the top to me. I've seen some people use Visio.

Is there some alternatives, not too advanced softwares but with ability to create your own library of symbols?

I've used Visio for flowcharts and had a colleague designing an interlock sheet in Excel (which was poor).

To be honest, I find that interlock conditions are better represented as a list of text rather than a graphical display.

I use yEd Graph editor

Something with steps and transitions for Sequence flow would be a great tool.

Have been playing around with LibreOffice Draw and it seems to have most of the stuff I want and was an easy start as well!

I've been looking for a long time to find a program with a good printing output. yEd, Draw.io and others didn't give me that. Just stated using Dynamic Draw and so far it gives me everything I've been looking for. http://www.dynamicdraw.com
