Siemens TIA Portal for 1500's - Basic vs Pro

I have a Siemens 1511C that I programmed, I have V16 Pro, anyone know if you can program them with TIA Basic or do you need Pro? I saw a bunch of references in the manual but it just says TIA, I know you need Pro for the 300's and the Basic will program the 1200's but what about the 1500's?

If anyone is using Basic can you see if you can choose the 1500's and 1511c specify

Basic is only for 1200s
Get what you pay for.

You have to have Step 7 Professional to program S7-1500 PLCs.

Me>>>>All the time, then add to that auto correct and I often do not understand what I wrote. Sometimes I have those brief moments of clarity to realize what is about to happen and I quickly close the thread to save myself from myself
