I am fairly new to the Siemens TIA Portal but it seems really powerful. I have a simple but complex task that it seems I may be able to complete thru many different routines within the tia portal. I have up to 23 different outputs that I can select in which typically (4) of them will get used and then followed up with (1) remaining flush material. I need each material to load by itself per the amount requested by the HMI. The operator will also select the material thru the HMI..ie. material 1, material 2, material 3, material 4. I have moved those values into a data block on the HMI. I could link that data block to the PLC. My thought was then to complete each material load based on the amount of material requested by the operator thru the HMI and then repeat for the next material. Could this be done with a VB script, funtion block, recipes, etc? I am looking for the simplest path of writing code.
