1769 SDN, using micrologix 1500, 1 master, bunch of slaves

Does anyone know why my Host(master) node 01 is showing up as <slave mode>. I read it somewhere but can't remember for the life of me why or where i saw it.

The label you're seeing: " <Slave Mode> ", is an available Input and Output map entry in the scanlist configuration applet.

What this means is that a Slave Mode connection is available to be mapped into the I/O memory of the 1769-SDN. This shows up when you Enable the "Slave Mode" function, but does not indicate that another master has actually created a connection to your scanner.

If you are not using Slave Mode, you can just go back to the "Module" tab, click the "Slave Mode" button, and disable the Slave Mode function checkbox.
