No off-delay in CX?

New to Omron, so please bear with me. It seems (to me) that the only way to generate an off-delay (using a tim instruction) for a given output when the controlling input goes off, is to enable a TIM instruction with a N.C. contact [the controlling input] and then use the N.C. timer-done bit to delay-off the required output coil. But at plc power-up, the output comes on for the delay-off period whilst the timer "primes" to its preset value. There has to be a better way  .

As the solution may be quite simple, many have asked the same question when it comes to Omron. Myself, I kind of like programming discretely. It's good for the mind!
