Pc & Plc Networking

Hi people I am at the moment trying invain to learn about networking mostly with PC's to start with but later PC's to PLC's and as you have all been so helpful to me in the past I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good book or books on the subject or even better a good website with simialer forum to this

I appologize for my spellings and been slightly off topic but you never know where you might find the best answers

I haven't read any books on the subject, so I can't recommend one. Most of what I have needed to know about it I learned on my own. Is there some specific things you are having trouble with that you need help with? If so post your problems.

I did a search on google for "Ethernet" and got a lot of hits.

I've used their study guides before as a refresher and as I remember they seem to provide the basics. They even have a practice quiz to prepare for the microsoft/cisco/comptia tests.

I don't know if they have a discussion board.
