Setting and resetting an output

Hi,

I am new to PLC and wish to prgram a sequence where a single push button is used to set and reset an output upon each press without special instruction.

What Brand of PLC do you have?
What do you mean by special instructions?
And when all else fails click on search above and type in "Flip-Flop".This
should keep you reading for a couple of days.

you also may use NOT function or XOR with 1, dependable on your PLC type..
