ATSS5 to step 5

Hello folks. I have a problem with a program i am trying to get into step 5. it was originally supplied with the machine in a format known as ATSS5 which apparently is compatible with step 5.
Our laptop with the ATSS5 program blew up a while back but due to the longevity of siemens hardware we havent needed to use it in ages.
I have a modification to do to the program and have found a copy of the program on a very dusty floppy.
If anyone has any ideas or has even heard of ATSS5 i would be greatful of some guidance.

I don't know anything about ATSS5, but if you are just looking for software to get into the PLC and make modifications, you could check out FasTraks, Windows based PLC WorkShop for Siemens S5. If you have a file on disk from ATSS5, the symbols, and descriptions may be able to be converted over.
