Can an alias be used instead of an address when entering/editing a ladder program of a Mitsubishi PLC (using MELSOFT GX Developer).

I can name my addresses in the program (alias) but I haven't discovered how to make any use of them.

Any other shortcuts/tip for programming a Mitsubishi FX2?
