Is a resistor needed, when connect Panelview 550 to PLC5 using DH+?
I cannot find any info saying if one is needed or not. Any help would be appreciated

The two ends of any DH+ cable need terminating resistors. Drops in the middle do not. If you have a straight connection from the PLC to the PV, then you neeed a resistor on both ends.

Using 56kbaud, do you know what size is needed?

Off the top of my head, I think it's 150 ohm resistors for 57.6 KBaud. The only time it changes is for 230.4 KBaud, and that is 82 Ohms.
