micrologix 1000 going down?

anybody ever had a problem with a micrologix 1000 flaking out? our excel baler keeps shutting down, sometimes once a week, sometimes 10 times a day, stop loop seems fine, everything seems fine. when we open the cabinet the inputs are on, no outputs. starts right back up. ever had one flake out or drop out of run mode and back in to run mode?

on a side note, one of the motor contactors was clicking real bad and then the outputs dropped out. but i was checking the coil and it was constant, so i replaced the contactor, see how it does.

Make sure you have surge supression on all inductive loads and make sure
your ML is grounded properly. Then check the ground again and again.
