PanelView 1200

Hello,

I have an Allen Bradley PanelView 1200. I also have the PanelBuilder software Revision 5.01. When I try to download a file to the PanelView I get the following error: 'No response from PanelView terminal.' I'm using the cable that I got from Allen Bradley. Can anyone help?

What kind of cable. Is it a serial cable? If so, did you check your baud rates?

I had this same problem before; and I did not succeed;

Then, I have taken one Ethernet cable, set IP on PC on the same area like OP, and everything was fine;

BUT ;

I was curious why I didn`t suceed uploading software from OP using serial cable; and I get the point:

An Serial RS232 Cable which I used to connect to PLC from PC iz Cross-overed, but for connecting to OP You MUST use NORMAL; that means send and receive pairs must NOT be crossed. Try this!
