s7-200 plc to EM 231 TC

Can anyone Help with the program logic needed for the s7-200 to read the EM 231 for temp control of a refridge unit. Can't find any sequence that might help me. The tips are very vague. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using s7-200 PLC with EM 231 Tc module with Type K thermocoupler and sending data to an HMI tp 177 Micro touchpad.

The EM231 is an analog input module, not a temperature controller. You will need to write logic in the PLC (possibly a PID loop) to control an output (on another module) to control temperature. All the Em231 does is bring a temperature signal into the PLC, it's up to you what you do with it.
