CPU317T-2DP firmware update

is it only way to buy very expensive siemens usb prommer that i can execute firmware update to cpu317t-2dp PLC.

Working online on tecnology object is impossible because on PLC TO(technology object) firmware is 3.0.1 but my S7T config version is 3.1.1.

What can i do , can some wizard tell me cheaper or easier ways solve my little problem ????

if you have Step7 V5.3 or newer you can upgrade the firmware of certain CPUs using HWConfig. The attached link outlines this procedure for an 317F CPU.

I have never worked with any of the technology CPUs but the procedure, if possible, should be similar.

Hello : step of upgrade fireware as below
1. you need 8 mb mmc card for upgrade fireware
2. insert 8mb mmc card to PG
3. copy fireware you want upgrade to mmc card from Step 7
(use PG ) then insert to plc
4. during power on switch to rest until sf ligh up
and stop light flash (fireware download )
5. stop light slow down flash (finish download )
6. Power off
7. insert new mmc card then Power On
