I have a employee leave when he was the only one that had access the plc through the pc to devicenet highway control box. I have tried to access the plc and I can't seem to get in to it. I bring up the RSLogix500 software then pulled up the communication tab. The window shows the workstation online but the plc's don't show to be online. What should I do to access the plc's?

More info needed. What SLC or Micrologix do you have? Complete catalog number if possible. The more info you give us the better the help.

Okay, now tell us how you are physically connected to it, and how you have RSLinx set up.
The 5/03 has a serial port (DF1 protocol) and a DH485 port by default.
You mentioned a "devicenet highway control box", could that be a Data Highway 485 box? (1747-AIC) Find the part number from the "box" and we should be able to help you figure it out.
