I am not very familiar with this software but once in a while I need to load programs to a memory cartridge. I just want to make sure I am doing things properly and avoid an embarrasing situation if techs think I don't know what I am doing.
Basically all I do is the following;
1. From the PCL menu select Program Memory cartridge
2. When Program Memory Cartridge is open, click Program.
at this point is the cartridge loading from the serial connection (PC) or PLC memory?
3. Once I am done, I like to run a Compare... to verify if the cartridge got programmed properly. Is this reliable to know if the program is in the Cartridge?
Sometimes I upload from the PLC to the computer to doble check if the program was loaded but I am not sure if the program is getting uploaded from the PLC memory or the memory cartridge?
