Pro-face HMI Interface problem

HI,

I have a Pro-face Touch screen FP3500 series connecting a KUKA KRC 2 controller(Robot PC base controller) using the USB port.
i have downloaded the driver to the KRC PC(UPDD-Universal pointer driver device) running windows XP 2002 service pack 2 embedded type.

i have check the status of UPDD, it is indicating the device was working, but i cant get any touch function from the touch screen. even after i re-start the PC & reset UPDD, i still unable to get anything from the touch screen


i try to install the UPDD driver into my laptop running wiindows xp profesional service pack 2, after finish installation & selecting the USB communication tpye. i can get the touch function from the touch screen.

Do anyone have the same experince problem before? i open to any suggestion or soultion.

Hi

If it works on your laptop then the probem is obviously in the embedded PC.

I would contact proface support and ask them about the driver... maybe a different driver is needed for the embedded windows.
