poll rslinx without using rslinx

I have a plc set up that conects remotly to a pc with rslinx gateway and rsview for the hmi.

We need to poll the rslinx for the data to put up on the web as a live feed of the data using the isp's own opc.

so what I am trying to do now is poll that remotes computers rslinx without using my rslinx and display the data on my rsview.

Any sugestions?

Which version of RSLInx are you running ? Some versions of RSLinx are OPC servers, if you havethe correct one all yopu will need to do is connect to it with a Client. Check your version number with your Rockwell rep.

It's an rslinx gateway so it realy shouldnt mater. I dont have the version number handy.
The problome is i belive is that were trying to conect from public ip to private ip trhrue a router and poll rslinx without using rslinx.
I can get my rslinx to poll it fine thrugh public ip to private, thats not a problome at all, but the host for the data wont be using rslinx to poll the rslinx on the hmi were the datra is coming from the plc.
