Redlion's new G3 Kadets

I just saw a demo of the new Redlion G3 Kadets. It has a very low price (AD low) and looks great. It is plastic but most cheap screens are now days. The only bad thing is RS232 only.

All I saw was a demo unit. Has anyone one got to do any work with one? I would like to see if the trends work the same as the other G3's

The 4' only has serial RS232,422,485, but the two larger unis also have ethernet. Per the link you provided. No I have not used one.

Id love to try these out but our systems require a little leeway with the power supplies as we use alot of solar/wind for charging. a buddy of mine tried the older style out and had problems if the voltage was above 26 or so volts. the panel would flicker and everything else. looks like the 4 inch may work but the other two wouldnt. its sad because these guys have alot of nice features that I could use.

The flicker issue has been resolved. We changed the voltage regulator design to correct the voltage dips that were causing the backlight to dim.

Regards,
Dan
