I am reviewing another programmers panelview program and the momentary push buttons are going to an integer instead of a bit like N7:0/0. I know this is going to the bit level. Why would you use an integer instead of a bit like B3:0/0 for the write tag of a momentary push button?

TIA

I have seen it, too. My only thinking is that if you are using an NEQ command to determine if a button is pressed, it helps reduce the chance that a bit you don't want being used. There is really no harm in it.
