communication problem for S7-200

hi to all genious users of the site.
i m monitoring a plant with siemens S7-200 and CPU-212.
i will be using SCADA or CITECT.
there is a communication problem from PLC to PC.
how can i resolve this problem???
can i create external circuit that communicate???how???
what else can be done with this PLC???

That has been dealt with in great length before in this forum (had a quick search but I could not find the thread).

Two of the suggestions were:-

1. a door stop
2. a paper weight
