S7-200 PLC communication problem

Hello Friends,
I'm facing a communication problem between the PC and S7-200 PLC(CPU 226) via Micro/WIN software and USB-MPI adapter, the settings are shown in the attached images.
Please ,check the settings and advice me about the error which cause the PC don't communicate with the PLC!..
Waiting for kind help..

Note: The PLC has two (RS -485)communication ports (port 0 & port 1)and i've tried the two ports with the MPI adapter but the communication still fail !.

Dear John,

The communication protocol for the S7-200 is PPI, so you have to chose PC Adapter PPI not MPI.

Thank you for kind reply, but some of MPI adapters is supporting PPI protocol and i've communicated with many s7-200 plc via MPI adapter !..
Is there any other reason plz?..

Yes John,

You are right, you can use your PC adapter to access the S7-200, but you have to chose PC Adapter PPI instead of PC Adapter MPI.

You know that you chose it in the menu SET PG/PC INTERFACE

If you look at your pics, you will notice that you have chosen MPI Protocol instead of PPI.

Thank you very much dear Hogas, i've choosed PPI protocol and then PC communicated with the PLC successfully.. Thank you very much.
