L32e compactlogix scp instruction

I have added the scp instruction to my project so i can scale my pressure transducers and it is going to be ok. So i want to know if i can use this scp add on instruction to scale my rtd's the same way in this processor. Normally in rslogix 500 i just move the temperature directly into a word. I am using the 1769-ir6 module.

No need for a "SCP" with that module. Depending on the data format you choose the module will give you engineering units. See page 4-9 from manual below.

so with this module and using the compactlogix processor i can just move the input directly to a word position just like using the RSLogix 500

Better than that, you can read your analog value directly from your module, just follow what Mickey is recommending.

Just create an alias tag pointing directly to the analog input.
