Good day, I have a question about a Quick Panel Jr. HMI. I have had to make some changes to our AB SLC500 ladder logic and wanted to know if I will also have to make changes to the Quick Panel Jr. ? I have looked around for a manual for the QP online but can't find it. Since I know nothing about this HMI I'm really stuck. I found a couple of items on this website, however, when I try to open them it says pages no longer exist. Thank you.

Probably not, but it really depends on what changes you are making to the plc program. The Quick Panel is not controlling the process, the PLC is. As long as you don't change things in the PLC that affect the Quick Panel you should be able to leave it alone.

Here are some examples:

1. A button on the Quick Panel is a momentary toggle of bit B3:0/0 in the plc program. If you change the plc program (replace all) to B3:0/1 then the Quick Panel won't work properly until you change it to match the new address.

2. You add a timer to delay operation of a solenoid valve. You won't need to make any changes to the Quick Panel.

3. You want the timer setpoint from Example #2 to be set from the HMI. You will need to add it to the Quick Panel program.

Hope this helps.
